We are lucky here in Northwest Montana to see pikas occasionally along a talus slope while hiking. We certainly hear them and their distinctive "eep!" calls. They are small rabbit-like mammals living in high-elevation rocky slopes in North America. This little guy was gathering food for his "haypile".
